So What is Microblading? It’s not only an investment with your finances, but also with your face, we want to make sure you’re as clued up as possible before making that all important decision.

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that creates natural-looking eyebrows by using a clever little hand-held tool. I craw thin, hair-like strokes into the top layer of the patient’s skin, and create the beautiful illusion of fuller eyebrows. A pigment (colour) is distributed into the skin to create a semi-permanent tattoo which will matches the client’s natural brow colour and skin tone. The process typically takes 1.5-2 hours and can last up to 2-3 years, depending on the individual’s skin type and care routine.

It’s a myth that Microblading is only suitable for those with sparse eyebrows- anyone seeking to improve the appearance of their eyebrows are good candidates for the treatment. Though Microblading hugely benefits those with uneven or sparse brows, those who have experienced hair loss due to medical treatments or conditions, it’s also suitable for those with thick brows, or simply if you want to shorten your daily makeup routine. It’s important to note that microblading may not be suitable for individuals who are pregnant, have specific medical conditions, or very oily skin. Generally most people are great candidates, but should you have any concerns, please consult with your Doctor.
